The inkstone monoprints were made by first making relief prints with antique border pieces and then painting over them. I inherited my father's inkstone and my first Chinese brushes were bought by my mother. The red seal is a gift from my friend, the artist Bangjing Sun. The other Chinese character in these prints is my last name, Shen.
